2. On slide #12, give the title of your slide "Conservation Status." Choose from the list below that fits your mammal and put your answer on the slide.
- Extinct (EX) – None left
- Extinct in the wild (EW) – None left in the wild but still in zoos and parks
- Critically endangered (CR) – Extremely high risk of extinction in the wild
- Endangered (EN) – High risk of extinction in the wild
- Vulnerable (VU) – High risk of endangerment in the wild
- Near threatened (NT) – Likely to become endangered in the near future
- Least concern (LC) – Low risk, does not look like it will be endangered anytime soon
3. You may have to search a bit on the internet to find this information. Wikipedia is not my favorite site for most things but for many mammals, they do list the conservation status.
